A steady place to take your next step.

FARM127 helps young adults aging out of foster care move toward housing stability, practical support, mentorship, and community.

Applying for FARM127 support

If you are 18–22, aging out of foster care, and living in the greater Charlotte area, FARM127 may be able to help you take the next step toward housing stability, practical support, mentorship, and community.

Support may include help with housing, basic needs, life skills, budgeting, education, career next steps, trusted local referrals, and one-on-one mentorship.

The process

The process can move quickly, but timing depends on current availability, housing options, and how quickly we are able to communicate with each other.

02 - Meet and talk

We will schedule a conversation to learn more about your situation, your goals, and whether FARM127 may be a good fit.

03 - Sign and start

If it is a fit, we will walk through a clear agreement together so you understand what FARM127 offers and what responsibilities come with receiving support.

04 - Get support

Once support begins, we will talk through housing options, mentorship, practical needs, and other next steps.

What we offer

Before support begins, we want to make sure the relationship is clear, respectful, and honest.

That is why FARM127 uses a Young Adult Agreement. The agreement explains what support may be available, what responsibilities come with that support, and what expectations help keep the relationship safe and trustworthy.

The goal is not control. The goal is clarity, accountability, and support as you grow toward independent adulthood.
